World Guy’s Walk for Diabetes Awareness
– 2010 and beyond
Erik Bendl has walked over a thousand miles for the cause of diabetes awareness and this year he is rolling from Washington, D.C. to Maine. When you see him on the road stop to say hello, he loves conversation. Nice (the dog) loves girls and chicken. If you can't find him call him @ (502)408-5772.
Erik supports DESA’s mission and encourages everyone to be physically active as part of your daily regimen to manage your diabetes.

Calling All Sisters!
Inspired by the Fall 2007 Sisterhood of Diabetes issue of DESA’s The Challenge, which I created and edited, I am now working on expanding the stories and singing the praises of the many fantastic and sensational women who integrate sports and exercise into their lives with diabetes. If you would like to be part of this spirited adventure book, please contact me: Judith Jones Ambrosini, jonesmagee@optonline.net. I would also love to hear from any of you gals who are past winners of the LifeScan Athletic Achievement Award.
