I have been Diabetic now for 24 years, and have always done pretty well with my management.
Over the summer I got into running long distances and also biking long distances. I have had lots of trouble with high and then also low blood sugars. I am looking for any suggestions people have.
Once during a 10k I started out with a blood sugar of 350, had breakfast did a small amount of insulin, took my pump off and had glucose (2 tabs every mile) and I got low. FRUSTRATING!! Any suggestions I would appreciate. Nutrition, insulin, pump info. etc
